Got a haunted attraction, corn maze, hayride or other Halloween-related site or event? Need to reach a Wyoming audience? Why not advertise on HauntedInWyoming.com!
You can now spend just a fraction of that cost on a search engine dedicated to Halloween sites in your own state, with traffic that's specifically looking for what you have to offer!
HauntedinWyoming.com is a specially created search engine made up of hand-picked Halloween, Corn Maze, Hayride and other seasonal sites and attractions. The site has been up and running since 2007, and has more than doubled its traffic every year.
Your 728x90 full color banner (GIF, JPG or PNG) will appear at the very top of every page on the site, excluding the privacy policy and this page (advertise.php). Depending on the package you pick, you will be in even rotation with no more than two other ads, or you can purchase an exclusive!
I haven't have a lot of time this year to automate my advertising system. So I have to keep it real simple, just to be able to manage it. Next year it WILL be different.
One State: $2.50 / day (minimum seven (7) consecutive days - ad rotates with two other ads
One State: $59.00 / month (minimum one (1) month - 30 days - ad rotates with two other ads
One State: $159.00 / month (minimum one (1) month - 30 days - EXCLUSIVE - no other ad on the page.
All ads are sold on a FIRST COME FIRST SERVE basis, and if one ad is sold for a state, then Exclusivity is off the table. So reserve your ad slot(s) as soon as possible!
If you're near a border, you might want to advertise in another state or states as well. We cover all 50. And you can order all the extra state slots you want (subject to availability) at the following discounted rates:
Extra States: $1.75 / day (minimum seven (7) consecutive days - ad rotates with two other ads
Extra States: $42.50 / month (minimum one (1) month - 30 days - ad rotates with two other ads
Extra States: $125.00 / month (minimum one (1) month - 30 days - EXCLUSIVE - no other ad on the page
As I mentioned, I don't have an automated system up and running for this year. So the best way to get started is to send me mail and tell me which state(s) you're interested, and for what period of time. That way I can check to see what's still available and get back to you. Payment is due up front, then send me your ad, and I will place it immediately.
Here's some things you should be aware of.
First of all, THANKS for considering advertising with the site. I do appreciate it.
Here's the step by step on how this works. You tell me which states you're interested in and for what period of time, and I will check the schedule. Once the availability is confirmed, then payment is due. Payment is to be made via Paypal (I'll send you the link); if you don't have a Paypal account you can still use Paypal to pay by credit card. I can also accept Google Checkout if you're set up there.
Once payment has been received, then all you need to do is send me the 728x90 ad, in GIF, JPG or PNG format. Animated GIFs are fine. Flash - well, maybe. I'd have to see it. Also send me your preferred landing page. I know a lot of the haunted attractions can be pretty exreme; I'd appreciate it if it wasn't *too* graphic. If you are using some type of Analytics, you might want to tag your url with Analytics codes.
The link to your site will be set to rel=nofollow; I don't need trouble with Google over paid links (and neither do you) I will be using a redirect page, because it's my habit, but that's only so I can keep track of clicks in my own Analytics as well. It'll still go to your url as you wish.
If you purchase the rotate package, your ad will go into even rotation with no more than two other ads. If there are no other direct advertisers for a state, it will be rotated with Google text ads. If you purchase an Exclusive slot, all other ads (including Google ads) will be removed; yours will be the sole ad displayed. Your ad will show on every page except for the privacy policy, and this advertising page.
You can put what you want in your ad, however, I would strongly suggest that you include some indication of your location.
I think that's all. I might add more to this later. If you have any questions, feel free to send mail.
